Why the name Nyxie Rose?

The name Nyxie is a nickname, coming from the name Nyx - the Greek Goddess of the night. And Rose is because I just love the name and the flower. :)
 

Can you do lip swatches?

I try to avoid swatching anything on my face, partly because I can't ever get the photos right or I'm swatching late at night and I'm make up free. I prefer swatching on the inside of my arm.
 

When did you start Nyxie Rose?

The blog has kind of been on and off for a few years now, but I finally decided to settle down and start the blog properly at the end of 2016. Prior to that, the blog was run under another name.
 

What Camera do you use?

I used the following: Nikon D3100, Nikon Coolpix L840 and my iPhone 6. I edit all my photos via apps on my phone and Photoshop CC. 
 

Where do you shop the most?

Superdrug, Boots and online.
 

What's wrong with your fingers?

I bite the skin around my nails and my nails too. This is due to anxiety and something which is known as dermatophagia. I try to wear false nails as often as possible.
 

How many piercings and tattoos do you have?

I have 5 piercings; snakebites in my lips, septum, nose, and ears. I have 4 tattoos; two Viking sigils on each wrist, an ankh behind my ear and Casper the friendly ghost on my ankle.
