Ebay Bargain: 120 Shade Palette

It's one of those weekends where everything falls into place, it's now May and the new month is starting off with a Monday - there is something satisfying about that. It's also Bank Holiday and Payday weekend! It's a shame the British weather had to ruin the fun by being all... miserable so I thought I'd share this bright coloured palette to cheer up this dreary day.

This is one of those palettes that confuses me so much. Mine is branded as Jazooli but I've seen it branded as LaRoc and an Irish brand too. I'm not going to complain about that too much, it's still a great bargain buy. I guess it's just an unbranded palette that companies put their own label on?

I bought mine direct from the Jazooli ebay page, and it cost me £5.99 with free postage. (I think it's now branded as LaRoc on their page) You really cannot argue the price, £5.99 for 120 pigmented shades of eyeshadow?

I've had mine for a good 3-4 years now (I know I should've thrown it out by now) but it's just such a good palette I can't bring myself to part with it. It was was one of my first large palettes.

The palette itself feels cheap, but I've dropped it multiple times and the packaging and the shadows have never broken. The two trays sit on top of each other, with a little ribbon to lift the section and get to the second tray.

This palette aso comes in a more neutral/warm toned colour selection which I'm going to buy soon. They also do smaller palettes, 15 shade palettes and a lipgloss palette (I'll review that soon, I may of ordered it!)

From what I've seen, it doesn't matter what name is put on the front of this palette, the quality is still good. Nobody has had any irritation (which can happen with unbranded products) and it seems to be worth the price. I'm not saying this is going to compare to a BH Cosmetics or Morphe palette, but if you are starting out or want a more day to day affordable palette, I'd recommend this one.

I believe all the shades are matte, but for some reason the brown I swatched looks shimmery (but matte in the pan?) I know they do a shimmer palette, but I was sure mine is all matte shades. I contemplated swatching all 120 to find out, but I don't think my arm will appreciate that.

They are a bit chalky, and do have fallout. They need building to get a bright pigmented shade, the swatches above are just one swipe - still pretty pigmented. But again, for £5.99 you really can't complain. I know for £4.00 you can get pigmented shades in the MUA palettes, but for an extra £1.99 you get way more shades. It's an entire rainbow, any shade you can think of is in this palette.

Overall, I really do think this is a good palette for the price. It certain fits my budget beauty requirements. If you are just starting out, want something for daily use, or want something for your teenage daughter who's getting into makeup - I'd suggest this palette.

I hope you enjoyed this super colourful review. If you have used this brand/palette, let me know in the comments!
