The Beauty Obsession Tag

I haven't done a beauty tag for a while! I thought I'd start doing them, to break up the reviews and give you an insight into my beauty obsessed mind. :)

1.) What is your favorite drugstore brand?

My favorite drugstore brand is a tie between Makeup Revolution/Tam Beauty products and MUA Cosmetics. They're both exclusive to Superdrug, and really cheap but good quality. I also love NYX Cosmetics, but they're more of a high-end drugstore brand, so I don't really have the pennies to order much from them. Boo.

2.) What is your favorite high-end brand?

I haven't really tried any high-end brands. I'm pretty sure when I get the funds, I'll be obsessed with Too Faced and Kat Von D. At the moment, I can only dream from afar. (I do have one Too Faced product, but I've never used it!)

3.) What is your favorite brand of brushes?

I don't really have one. I had a set of Makeup Revolution brushes, but I find them to be really scratchy. All of my other brushes are unbranded and from ebay/aliexpress. I really want to get my grubby little mits on the Shaanxo brushes tho!

4.) What is your favorite nail polish brand?

I don't really have one... I don't have nails because I chew them, so I can't really say. Most of my nail polishes are actually from Makeup Gallery - the Poundland brand. It's pretty good for the price and their glitter ones are super pretty. I just don't have nails to use them on...

5.) What is your favorite type of product? (Ex: lippies, eye shadow, mascara, highlighter, ect.)

Lipstick. Handsdown. I mean, I might have a lipstick addiction. I do also have an addiction for Highlighters... It's getting to the point where I might need an intervention. The last time I counted, I had over 70 lipsticks and about 15 highlighters. I only have one face!

6.) What is your biggest makeup obsession/addiction?

Like I said above, Highlighters and Lipsticks. But in all honesty, I think I'm just addicted to everything makeup.

7.) How many products do you have of your addiction?

Waaaaay too many. My 5 draw Ikea unit is completely full. I have far too much to count... I know I have over 70 lipsticks both liquid and standard, over 15 highlighters and about 20 eyeshadow palettes, maybe more.

8.) What is your favorite thing to apply?

I don't really have a favorite thing to apply. I'm actually useless at applying lipstick, it's always messy. I'm pretty useless with eyeliner too... and for some reason all foundations hate me right now. If I had to pick, I'd say highlighter... I can't really mess that up.

9.) What products can you never leave the house without applying?

Eyeliner and some form of powder if I don't do foundation. I feel naked without my eyeliner, I've been wearing it since I was around 14?

10.) What is one product you wish makeup companies would make? (Ex: Matte shadow in more colors, more lippie colors, matte bronzer that’s less orange, ect.)

Oh god, that's a question I've never considered. Foundations in really light shades would be my answer, it's so hard to find a good drugstore foundation that isn't orange on me.
