Hellooooo lovelies :) This post was supposed to have gone up yesterday night on Sunday, but I fell asleep at 8pm and didn't wake up til 7am this morning. Oops! So, you're getting the post now :) I'm going to be changing up my blogging routine this week, so new posts will be coming on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays. :) Onto the post! Okay, so if you haven't already go check out my review on the Wikaniko 100% Moringa Oil. This stuff is like a holy grail product, it's just super amazing :) I thought I'd share with you some ideas I've had on how to use the product...
Use 1: Anti-Aging/Skin Glow treatment:
The most common use for Moringa Oil is for the anti-aging properties. I used mine mainly to get the hydrated/glowy skin look as I'm not really looking for anti-aging treatments just yet. I would recommend maybe finding a carrier to mix with the oil so you don't use too much too quick, but I just massaged a small amount into my skin to get a really nice hydrated glowy complexion, you could do this once a week, once a day or twice a day - it's really up to you!
Use 2: Spot treatment:
My skin is so bad right now, I keep breaking out constantly - it's a battle I really can't win. However, I started using the Moringa Oil as a direct spot treatment as it's supposed to be really good for fighting acne and outbreaks. I simply squirted a single pump into my hand, used a cotton but and dabbed onto the spot before bed and left overnight. My skin is looking cleaner already :D
Use 3: Lip scrub:
My mum was in the kitchen baking birthday cakes when I had this idea, I've never moved so quickly in all my life. I grabbed a small bowl, some sugar and my Moringa Oil. I'm not 100% sure on the exact measurements but I just added 2 pumps and a spoonful of sugar, mixed it all together till it was kind of a paste. Scrubbed it onto my lips, wiped it away with some tissue and viola! soft, non-chapped lips. (Oh my god they were so soft!) This is one of those things where you cannot mess up, just make sure the sugar is coated in the oil and you've got a sealable tub to store it in :D
Use 4: Night Serum:
For my nightly serum, I don't do anything fancy. I just massage it into my freshly washed skin before I hit the hay. But if you've got essential oils, like lavender and a tinted dropper bottle, you can combine the two to create a scented serum which you can apply to damp skin!
Use 5: Hair Treatment:
My hair goes through hell because of the amount of hair dying and abuse it gets from me. Every now and then I try to do something nice for my hair, and Moringa Oil as a hair treatment is certainly a nice treat! Moringa Oil is known to strengthen your hair with regular use, all you have to do is massage some of the oil into your hair and scalp - this will give you a deep nourishing treatment. If you've got a dry scalp, it makes an amazing moisturiser so be sure to massage some oil into your scalp for fast relief from a dry and itchy scalp!
Use 6: Makeup Remover:
Last but not least, my favorite use for Moringa Oil... makeup remover! I wear makeup daily, as you may of noticed, but oh my goodness... this is by far THE best makeup remover I've ever used. I literally just pump 2 or 3 squirts of the oil onto a pad and get removing, I don't have to scrub at my eyes to get eyeliner off, it just wipes away. It's all natural too, so I don't have to worry what is going onto my sensitive skin :)
