This palette is somewhat unusual for me, it's not a brand I've ever brought - nor was it purchased the usual way...

Let me explain, I had an advert pop up on Facebook with a coupon code for a newly launched product in the UK. Usually, I'd skim past this. But is said 95% off, making this palette £1. Yup, you read that correctly... one whole British pound. (Free shipping on Prime!) I couldn't let that slip past. I ordered it, with the help of Jamie and his Prime account, and waited patiently.

It arrived 2 days later I think? We ordered it late. Either way, I was happy. The palette looked a lot smaller than I expected, but I never even bothered to look at sizes, I was stoked for the whole £1.00 aspect.

The packaging is a gorgeous gold, and the font on the front is a foiled gold. It closes with a magnet and doesn't feel cheap at all.

The palette has a lot of neutral tones, a bit of shimmer and matte, my kind of palette. It usually costs £12.95 which isn't bad for a palette containing 15 shades. It's nice a compact too, perfect for travelling. I really like how it has an inspiring quote inside.

Like I said, the palette features 15 shades and some have a bit of shimmer - not too much, which I love.

It's a fairly warm neutral palette, and it is honestly one of those palettes that speaks to me. I kinda struggled to even describe these shades... they are all so similar but different. It's so hard, if you want a full swatch, let me know in the comments.

Cream: Shimmery/Matte looking white shade. Perfect as a base.

Pearly: Shimmery shade light pearly pink.

Champagne: Shimmery golden champagne shade.

Mauve: Shimmery light bronze brown shade.

Comfort: Shimmery light golden brown.

Rust: Shimmery rusty brown shade.

Bronze: Shimmery true bronze toned shade.

Wood: Shimmery light brown shade.

Metal: Shimmery light blue-ish grey, my personal favourite shade.

Idol: Shimmery dark brown.

Satin: Shimmery golden brown.

Plum: Shimmery golden brown, a bit lighter than Satin.

Wish: Shimmery ash brown, bit grey toned.

Cameo: Shimmery red brown.

Espresso: The only true matte shade, a coffee brown shade.

Luxery: Shimmery black with blue undertones and glitter. My second favourite shade.

Here is just a few of the swatches, they're a bit chalky and have some fallout but they're super pigmented. That's just one swipe!

I haven't tried this palette on my eyes yet, but I pulled the sleeve of my jumper down and 2 hours later (after me moving around and the sleeve rubbing against the swatches) the colours were more or less still there.

Overall, I'm honestly really pleased about this palette. I'm not sure I'd pay £12 for it, but that's because I'm quite cheap... if it isn't under £8, I'll pass. (I know, I'm awful.) but it's certainly a good little palette.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Have you ever heard of this brand before? Are you considering buying it? Let me know in the comments below!
